For the J1B Project in Dubai, Art in Public Space collaborated with Emirati artist Zeinab Al Hashemi to realize a sculptural intervention exploring the dialogue between raw material, geometry, and the surrounding landscape.
The artwork combines cast cement with a bronze lattice structure, contrasting the weight and solidity of the monolithic base with the openness and visual lightness of the intricate metal framework. Emerging from the landscape as an abstract architectural fragment, the piece blurs the boundaries between sculpture, structure, and environment.
Art in Public Space was responsible for the technical development and fabrication of the artwork, translating the artist’s vision into a permanent public installation.
