Plasma Kelp

Plasma Kelp was conceived from an idea describing how vapour or gas expands when released into the atmosphere. Suspended, interdependent particles form a cloud above the viewers head, each particle in motion, capturing light and reflecting it in ever-changing angles. Time and the laws of physics often play a role in sculpture; Plasma Kelp sought to make these properties visible to the viewer.
